COOKIE DOUGH BROWNIE CAKE

Ingredients

For the Brownie Layers:

1 cup unsalted butter

1½ cups granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar

4 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

For the Cookie Dough Filling (No Egg):

¾ cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup brown sugar

¼ cup granulated sugar

2 tbsp milk

1½ tsp vanilla extract

1½ cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated)

½ tsp salt

1 cup chocolate chips (mini or regular)

For the Chocolate Ganache:

1 cup dark chocolate chips

½ cup heavy cream

Optional Toppings:

Chocolate truffles

Extra ganache drizzle

Instructions

1. Make the Brownies:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch round cake pans.

Melt butter. Whisk in sugars until combined.

Add eggs and vanilla, whisk until smooth.

Stir in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Divide batter between pans and bake 22–25 minutes. Let cool completely.

2. Make the Cookie Dough:

Beat butter and both sugars until fluffy.

Mix in milk and vanilla.

Add heat-treated flour and salt, mix until combined.

Fold in chocolate chips. Chill for 10–15 minutes if too soft to handle.

3. Make the Ganache:

Heat cream until steaming. Pour over chocolate chips. Let sit 1 minute, then stir until smooth. Cool slightly before using.

4. Assemble:

Place one brownie layer on a plate.

Spread a thick layer of cookie dough over it.

Add second brownie layer.

Cover top with more cookie dough or a layer of ganache.

Drizzle with ganache and top with chocolate truffles.
