🌸 Iced Rose Matcha Latte Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp matcha powder (preferably ceremonial grade for vibrant flavor)

  • 1 tbsp rose syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based like oat, almond, or soy)

  • Ice cubes

  • Optional: rose petals for garnish 🌹

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Matcha:

    • In a small bowl, sift 1 tsp matcha powder to remove clumps.

    • Add 2–3 tbsp hot water (not boiling) and whisk vigorously using a bamboo whisk (chasen) or small frother until smooth and frothy.

  2. Sweeten with Rose Syrup:

    • Stir in 1 tbsp rose syrup into the matcha mixture while it’s still warm. This helps blend the flavors beautifully.

  3. Assemble the Latte:

    • Fill a glass with ice cubes.

    • Pour in 1 cup of milk over the ice.

    • Slowly pour the rose matcha mixture on top for a beautiful layered effect.

  4. Garnish & Serve:

    • (Optional) Sprinkle with dried edible rose petals or a light dusting of matcha for presentation.

    • Stir before drinking and enjoy!
