For the Chocolate Cake:

For the Cheesecake Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ cup Reese’s Pieces, chopped

¼ cup Butterfinger bars, crushed
For the Chocolate Ganache:

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup heavy cream

1. Prepare the Chocolate Cake

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl, beat sugar, eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth.

Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet, mixing gently just until combined. Do not overmix.

Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

2. Make the Cheesecake Filling

In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until fully incorporated.

Fold in chopped Reese’s Pieces and crushed Butterfinger until evenly distributed.

3. Prepare the Ganache

Place chocolate chips and heavy cream in a heatproof bowl.

Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and glossy.

Once the cake is completely cool, slice horizontally into two even layers.
