  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

1. Make the Cupcakes:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).

  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

  5. Add the dry ingredients in two batches, alternating with milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients. Mix just until combined.

3. Assemble & Decorate:

  • Once cupcakes are completely cool, pipe the buttercream onto each using a star or round tip.
