A Decadent Chocolate Treat with a Gooey, Melting Center!

Indulge in this rich and decadent dessert that’s perfect for chocolate lovers. With a soft, molten center surrounded by a firm cake, it’s an irresistible treat!


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter

  • 6 oz (170g) semi-sweet chocolate (chopped)

  • 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 large egg yolks

  • 1/4 cup (32g) all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt


Instructions:

1️⃣ Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease 4 ramekins and place them on a baking tray.

2️⃣ Melt the Butter and Chocolate:
Melt the butter and chocolate together in a microwave or over a double boiler. Let it cool slightly.

3️⃣ Mix the Ingredients:
Whisk the powdered sugar into the melted chocolate mixture. Add the eggs and egg yolks, then whisk until well combined.

4️⃣ Add Vanilla, Salt, and Flour:
Stir in the vanilla extract, pinch of salt, and flour until the mixture is smooth.

5️⃣ Divide the Batter:
Evenly divide the batter between the 4 prepared ramekins.

6️⃣ Bake:
Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until the edges are firm, and the center is still soft.

7️⃣ Invert and Serve:
Let the cakes sit for 1 minute, then carefully invert them onto plates. Serve warm and enjoy the gooey, molten center!
